Michael James

I was struck these past days with Jesus’s love and grace for Judas the betrayer. Judas was at the last supper and Jesus did not call him out in front of the others. Then I wept when I read today where Jesus returned Judas’s kiss with the greeting “my friend.”

What amazing love and forgiveness is available to us betrayers if only we come to Jesus with a broken and contrite heart. Wow. Humbling. Hopeful. Grace beyond all measure.
